About This Call
Join us for the 51st Morning Glory Art Fair returning to the Marcus Performing Arts Center in downtown Milwaukee on May 30-31, 2026. This vibrant, arts-centered venue is perfectly nestled by the Milwaukee Riverwalk, Red Arrow Park, Saint Kate's Art Hotel, and the downtown theater district. Morning Glory Art Fair now kicks off summer in the heart of Milwaukee, offering the perfect mix of art, energy, and community spirit.
The fair is open to all artists 18 years or older working in ceramics, digital art, fiber/leather, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting and 2D media, photography, sculpture, and wood. Artists will enjoy a seamless experience with Friday setup, indoor restrooms, on-site Wi-Fi, and booth sitters. Booths will be located on flat grass or concrete, with short dolly access from the street. All booths must be weighted properly with a minimum of 50 pounds per leg, as no staking is allowed on the grounds.
Cash awards totaling $3,200 will be presented, including Best of Show ($600), Awards of Excellence ($350 each), Awards of Merit ($250 each), and the Annette Hirsh Memorial Award for Excellence in Jewelry ($200). Wisconsin Craft offers an Emerging Artist Program for artists with less than three years of experience exhibiting at festivals, with priority given to Wisconsin artists. The application fee is $75, and 5 images plus a booth shot are required. Applications open November 15, 2025, with a deadline of February 4, 2026.
