MOOD

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibition titled MOOD. The theme explores how art conveys emotional value and mood. Artists are asked to show MOOD from their perspective, considering how atmosphere and emotional content in artwork can connect viewers in profound ways.

Submissions must be in JPEG format following CaFÉ guidelines, with images at least 1,200 pixels on the longest side and maximum file size of 5 MB. Artists may submit up to 20 total images. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots may be sent by email without additional fees. JPEGs are due by October 14, 2022, at midnight MST. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by November 11, 2022.

The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). Artists receive 100% of sales. This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work must be original and not copied or done under instructor guidance. All fine art mediums are eligible except film/video. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits is not eligible. Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding; winners must submit a W-9 form.
