Montgomery Art Guild Members Exhibition

This exhibition is open to Montgomery Art Guild members only. Artists may submit one piece of artwork in any of the following media: paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, photographs, computer graphics, mixed media, fiber art, and fine crafts. Artwork must not exceed 36 inches wide or 44 inches tall, including the frame, and hanging artwork must not weigh more than 20 pounds. All work must be finished, dry, framed or gallery wrapped, and ready to hang. Gicleé reproductions are not permitted; only original work is eligible. Artists must be 18 years or older.

The deadline for online entry is Saturday, January 24. Artwork must be delivered in person to the Ware-Farley-Hood House at 450 North Hull Street, Montgomery on Saturday, January 31 between 10 a.m. and noon. The opening reception is Sunday, February 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibition is open Saturday and Sunday, February 14-15 and 21-22. Artwork must be picked up on Saturday, February 28 between 9 a.m. and noon. Neither the Montgomery Art Guild nor Old Alabama Town can store artwork after this date.

There is no entry fee for this exhibition, but membership in the Montgomery Art Guild is required. Membership costs $35 for one year or $20 for students. No commission is charged on artwork sales; all sales are handled directly between the artist and buyer. Images of selected artwork may be used for promotional purposes by the Montgomery Art Guild and Old Alabama Town. Submissions are made through the ArtCall online system. Digital images must be 300 ppi, submitted in .JPG, .PNG, or .GIF format, and between 2500 and 4600 pixels on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 4 MB. Submit one image for two-dimensional work and two images for three-dimensional work.
