Monmouth University DiMattio Gallery Exhibition Proposals

The DiMattio Gallery at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ is accepting proposals for the 2024 academic year. The proposed exhibition date is January 16 – March 8, 2024. Artists are invited to submit works in any media including video, photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation, graphic design, and new media. Exhibition proposals may consist of solo, two person, and small group exhibitions.

Application materials must include: twelve high resolution jpegs (300 dpi, 4" x 6") of recent work; an image list providing title, media, and dimensions for each image; an exhibition proposal of 500-1000 words; an artist's statement; and a resume including bio, exhibition record, and contact information. The entry deadline is August 11, 2023.

All work, unless marked not for sale (NFS), will be available for purchase during the exhibit. Monmouth University will not retain a commission on artwork sold. Artists are responsible for shipping their work to the gallery in sturdy, reusable boxes or crates, and Monmouth University will provide return shipping. Artwork will be insured only while on the gallery premises in accordance with Monmouth University policy.
