Modern Muse

Photo Artfolio invites photographers worldwide to submit work for Modern Muse, an online exhibition celebrating the forces that ignite creative vision. The exhibition explores how inspiration takes shape today—fleeting or fixed, emotional or visual, deeply personal or profoundly universal. Muse doesn't have to mean a person; it might be the shifting light on water, the quiet strength of a recurring portrait subject, the pull of home, or the thrill of a single gesture on a busy street.

Broad interpretations of the theme are welcome, from documentary to fine art, landscape, portraiture, street, and conceptual work. AI-generated imagery is not eligible for consideration. Photographers may submit between 1 and 20 images. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $5 for each additional image. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.photo-artfolio.com.

The top three images will receive awards: 1st place $500, 2nd place $300, and 3rd place $100. All images must be submitted by October 14, 2025, at midnight MST. Photographers will receive notification of acceptance by November 4, 2025. Images must be in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. This call is open to photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional. Photographers receive 100% of sales from their work.
