Modern Media

Art Scene West invites artists working with acrylic, spray paint, collage, digital art, resin, wood, mixed media, photography, glass, fiber, and other non-traditional methods to submit work for this exhibition. The gallery presents artists from around the globe in a variety of styles and mediums, spotlighting works that push boundaries and delight diverse audiences. Selected pieces will be displayed in the gallery located in Seaport Village of San Diego, California, with an average acceptance rate of 50%. In addition to the gallery exhibition, selected works will be promoted across the website, email campaigns, and social media platforms.

Artists may enter up to 4 works (or 4 images total) per submission, with each entry juried individually. Multiple submissions are allowed. Artworks are juried according to originality, overall quality, and relevance to the exhibition theme. Size limits are: 2D works maximum 30" on the longest side (larger works may be considered with an additional fee if accepted); 3D/Sculpture maximum 16" (H) × 8" (W) × 8" (D) with maximum weight of 45 lbs. The submission fee is $35. For selected artists, a participation fee of $75 applies to cover promotion, handling, curation, website and social media uploads, and gallery operations. Artists are responsible for shipping and return-shipping fees. Art Scene West retains 40% of sales commission for gallery expenses and remits 60% to the artist.

Exhibition dates are November 10, 2025 – January 4, 2026. The submission deadline is October 17, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be between October 18-20, 2025. Artwork must be delivered no later than November 9, 2025. The opening reception is November 15, 2025. Submissions must be original works created by the artist and available for sale. Artists must be 18 or older and are open to international applicants. Artwork containing nudity, profanity, or vulgarity will not be accepted.
