Mira Mar Residences Public Art Commission

Mira Mar is a luxury condominium development currently breaking ground in downtown Sarasota. Developed by Seaward Development, a locally based firm known for its high-end residential projects, Mira Mar will include two residential towers and 70 residences, with pricing beginning in the high $3 millions. The project includes the careful rehabilitation of the original historic structure, preserving its architectural character while introducing two new residential towers behind it. A significant public artwork will be commissioned for the project, with a focus on creating a fountain that feels integrated with both the architecture and the history of the site.
