Minimalist Marvels: A Virtual Juried Photography Exhibit

Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers to submit work for Minimalist Marvels: A Virtual Juried Photography Exhibit. This exhibition celebrates minimalist aesthetics and the art of distillation—capturing the essence of a moment, subject, or scene with deliberate focus on essential elements. The exhibit welcomes photographers of all backgrounds and experience levels, whether working with DSLRs, point-and-shoot cameras, smartphones, or other equipment.

Submit 1-5 photographs in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller. All submissions must be free of watermarks or branding. The entry fee is $35 per artist for up to five images. Selected entries will be featured in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com. The juror is Joanne Henig, curator and co-founder of Photo Art Pavilion. All artists who submit will be notified by email by September 13th, 2024. The virtual reception and awards presentation will be held online via Zoom on September 25th, 2024 at 7:00 PM EST and will be recorded and posted on the Photo Art Pavilion YouTube Channel.

Awards: First Place $150, Second Place $125, Third Place $100, Honorable Mention $35. Entry deadline is September 6th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Open to artists aged 18 and older. By submitting, you grant Photo Art Pavilion the right to display selected images on their website and social media platforms with credit to the artist's name and image title. The entry fee is non-refundable, and the juror's decisions are final.
