Miniatures

R Gallery seeks small artworks of all styles and mediums for this exhibition. Wall pieces should be no larger than 36 square inches excluding frame. For framed works, mat and frame should be less than 3" for a maximum total area of 81". Unframed canvas works are acceptable providing edges are painted and clean. Sculptures should be less than 6 inches in all dimensions. The gallery is open to all mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media.

Eligibility is limited to Colorado residents. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. You may submit multiple images, however the gallery normally selects only one piece from each selected artist. If submitting fewer than three artworks, fill remaining required entries with duplicate images. The exhibition runs from September 22 - October 18, 2020. Accepted works must arrive no later than the last dropoff day (September 20). Work will be returned by the 15th of the following month after the exhibit closes unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending work by carrier.

Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. All sales will be handled through R Gallery with a 50% commission charged unless otherwise stated in proceeding agreements. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition and will send checks to artists by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs. Notification of acceptance will be sent August 30.
