Mini Print LA 2026

Mini Print LA 2026 is organized by the Los Angeles Printmaking Society and presented at Plaza de la Raza. The exhibition theme is "In the Present," which calls on artists to respond to the urgency of now. This moment is marked by overlapping crises, rapid change, and negotiations of power, identity, survival, and resistance. The call welcomes works that grapple with the socio-political and environmental realities shaping our present lives, from visible struggles to embodied experiences of living through uncertainty. Bold, critical, and vulnerable artistic responses that refuse distance but reflect on the present are invited.

Submissions are due February 22, 2026. Jury notification will be March 1, 2026. The exhibition runs April 1 - April 30, 2026, with an artist reception on April 4, 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Entry fees are $25 for Los Angeles Printmaking Society members in good standing and $35 for non-members. Artists may submit up to 3 artworks. Work must be 7" x 7" unframed and must be for sale. Accepted artwork should be shipped to LAPS, PO Box 3213, Ventura, CA 93006, arriving by March 27, 2026. Local artists may deliver wrapped artwork to Plaza de la Raza, 3540 N Mission Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90031 between March 27 and 28, 2026. Work must be shipped in a reusable shipping container or tube and include a paid return shipping label.

Plaza de la Raza will retain a 20% commission on any artwork sold, LAPS will retain 20% to cover costs, and artists will receive 60%. Sale price on the entry form must include commission and cannot be changed after acceptance. Work is insured by LAPS while at Plaza de la Raza; the artist is responsible for artwork in transit. Artists wishing their artwork returned after the exhibition must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. LAPS suggests that participating artists donate their works to the LAPS archive.
