Mid-West Sculpture Exhibition

The Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery invites submissions for the Mid-West Sculpture Exhibition. The gallery is located on the IU Kokomo campus at 2300 S. Washington St, Kokomo, IN and displays artwork by local, regional, national, and international artists throughout the year.

The exhibit is open to all artists who are at least 18 years of age. Media accepted are sculpture and ceramics. All entries must be original and created within the last two years. Artwork must be no larger than 48" in width measured horizontally, and sculptures should not exceed 11ft in height due to gallery space. A maximum of 3 pieces can be entered per artist. All work must be accurately represented in high-resolution (300dpi) jpeg images (minimum 2, maximum 6 images required). Professional presentation of each piece is required. Sculptures should be fully assembled and structurally sound, with detailed installation instructions if necessary or the artist may assemble on site.

Entries are due 9/16/2017. Artists will be notified on or before 10/15/2017. Delivery of artwork is November 1, 2, and 3, 2017 during gallery hours or by appointment. The exhibition runs November 8, 2017 – December 6, 2017, with an opening reception on November 8 from 4-7pm. Artwork pick-up is December 11, 12, and 13, 2017. Delivery and pick-up are the artist's responsibility; work may be personally dropped off or shipped in a sturdy, reusable box with prepaid return shipping.
