MICROCOSMOS 2

Gallery 621 presents MICROCOSMOS 2, an exhibition of small works juried by artist/curator Chester Arnold. The exhibit will demonstrate the power and beauty of worlds created in small scale. Each piece submitted must have a maximum dimension of 12 inches in any direction and must be hand delivered on specified dates.

Eligibility is open to all artists able to deliver works to Gallery 621 in Benicia, California. Entries must be original artwork completed between 2017 and 2019. All media is accepted with the exclusion of installation and video. The entry fee is $35 (non-refundable) and covers up to 3 entries; one application per artist only. Notification of the juror's selections will be made by email on October 14, 2019.

Delivery dates are October 27, 2019 (12 pm–6 pm) and October 28, 2019 (10 am–2 pm). The exhibit runs from November 1 through December 1, 2019. An artist's reception will be held on Saturday, November 9, from 5–8 pm with commentary by the juror. All artwork must be for sale; Gallery 621 will mail 50% of the sale price to the artist within 30 days of the close of the exhibit. Pickup dates are December 1, 2019 (6 pm–7 pm) and December 2, 2019 (10 am–5 pm). The artist assumes all liability for artwork during the show and should obtain their own insurance coverage.
