About This Call

The Michigan Makers Market is an indoor shopping event featuring 80+ craft and fine art exhibitors, highlighting products that are handcrafted in Michigan. This fall market takes place at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in Downtown Muskegon on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10am to 5pm. The event seeks Michigan makers only with absolutely no buy and sell items allowed.

All work must be of original design and processed by the artists (handcrafted). Artists may not exhibit or sell subcontracted work. Limited reproductions are acceptable only in certain mediums (rule of 90% original and 10% reproductions). Each exhibitor display space will be 10'x10' with no electrical or water service available. Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own display and booth equipment.

The application fee is $30 via Zapplications (non-refundable) with a $125 booth fee due by September 26, 2025. Five images are required including three individual pieces, one work in progress image, and one booth display image. Applications open June 17, 2025 with the deadline extended to August 3, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent September 5, 2025. Exhibitors are responsible to collect and remit 6% Michigan sales tax.
