Mexico City | Open Call for Exhibitions & Residency 2023

PRPG.mx invites artists of all mediums to submit work for exhibition consideration. Accepted mediums include painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines.

Entry fee is $40 for up to 10 images. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork selected for exhibition, pieces must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers are permitted; wiring must be securely fashioned to support the artwork's weight. The number of pieces exhibited varies depending on the artist's medium, sizes, shapes, and available wall space, with every artist able to exhibit a sizable body of work for proper representation.

Entries are reviewed bi-weekly with notifications sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive invitations for upcoming group or solo exhibitions. A Wait List status indicates interest but no immediate exhibition placement; waitlisted artists are reviewed for up to 9 months after the call closes. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks, including customs fees. The gallery retains a 40% commission on all exhibition sales in the gallery and online. Sales remittances are paid within 30 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. An optional consultation with the gallery curator is available for an additional $40 fee, limited to 1 hour via Zoom, with a recorded copy provided to the artist.
