Mexico City | Open Call for Exhibitions 2023

PRPG.mx is accepting submissions for upcoming exhibition consideration. Entries are reviewed bi-weekly, with notifications sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Artists selected for exhibition will receive an invitation for upcoming group or solo exhibitions. Selected artists may receive an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or a "Wait List" status indicating interest with potential placement within 9 months.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. All work must be original, unsold work with the artist owning sole copyright. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers are permitted. The number of pieces exhibited varies based on medium, size, shape, and available wall space, with every artist able to exhibit a sizable body of work.

Entry fee is $40 for up to 10 images. An optional consultation with the gallery curator is available for an additional $40, limited to 1 hour via Zoom, with a recorded copy provided to the artist. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks, including prepaid return labels and customs fees. Gallery retains a 40% commission on all exhibition sales in the gallery and online. Sales remittances are paid within 30 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
