Mexico City Group & Solo Exhibitions 2023

PRPG.mx is accepting entries for group and solo exhibitions in Mexico City. The gallery accepts work in all mediums including painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines.

Entry fee is $40 for up to 10 images. Submit 1-5 images for consideration. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork selected for exhibition, pieces must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers. The number of pieces exhibited varies depending on the artist's medium, sizes, shapes, and available wall space, but every artist will be able to exhibit a sizable body of work.

Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive an invitation for upcoming exhibitions. An "Invited" status means immediate invitation for a group or solo exhibition. A "Wait List" status indicates the gallery is interested but may not have immediate availability; waitlisted artists are reviewed for up to 9 months after the call closes. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Gallery retains a 40% commission on all sales. Payment to artists is provided within 30 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. An optional consultation with the gallery curator is available for an additional $40 fee, limited to 1 hour via Zoom, with a recorded copy provided to the artist.
