Mexico City | 2022 Open Call for Exhibition

Dama Gallery is accepting submissions for exhibition consideration at its Mexico City location. Entry deadline is March 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $5 per image for up to 20 total images. An optional Zoom consultation is available for $75.

Submissions are reviewed weekly with selections made independently by location and curator. Exhibition lengths vary from 1 to 3 months, with the number of pieces depending on the artist's medium, sizes, and shapes of selected work. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions. Selected artists may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions. Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for representation by Dama Gallery, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional support, and online market inventory and website profile.

All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork, pieces must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. Artists of all mediums and genres are encouraged to apply, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, and mixed media. Sales are handled through Artsy, with Dama Gallery retaining a 50% commission. Sales remittance to the artist occurs 5-7 business days post-exhibition and/or upon buyer payment finalization.
