MetroState Creates Virtual Incubator and Juried Exhibition

The Center for Innovation (CFI) at Metropolitan State University of Denver announces "MetroState Creates," a virtual incubator and juried exhibition for members of the Colorado Creative Industries community. The program provides support services including guidance in accounting, finance, marketing, planning and implementation, with a prime location in Denver. The Center is also hosting a juried show providing showroom space for Colorado Creative Industries members.

Eligibility: The virtual incubator opportunity is open to all members of the Colorado Creative Industries community (must be 18 years and older) who have a registered business and website. The juried show is open to all members of the Colorado Creative Community (must be 18 years and older). Both opportunities are limited to high quality creative works from Colorado Creative Enterprises or professions. All submissions should be non-offensive to a general audience of all ages and for sale. Exhibition dates: August 20, 2012 - December 14, 2012.

Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit by August 15, 2012 via www.callforentry.org. Required materials include: completed online application form with artist/design statement (not to exceed 1000 characters) and artist biography; up to 5 images with captions including year, media, dimensions, and preferred display method; and current résumé (not to exceed 3 pages or 3000 characters). MetroState Creates virtual incubator participants must answer two additional questions. Entry fee: $20.00. Selected participants will be notified by August 16, 2012. Virtual incubator participants pay a monthly membership fee of $49 (minimum 4 months) and a 30% commission on sales. Juried participants pay 50% commission on sales.
