About This Call
Mercer County Artists 2025 is a juried exhibition open to visual artists ages 18 or older who live, work, or attend school in Mercer County, NJ. The exhibition runs from May 27 to July 31, 2025, with jury selection taking place May 1-7, 2025.
Artists may submit up to three original works in any media except photography. Entry fees are $15 for the first piece, $5 for a second piece, and $5 for a third piece. Two-dimensional works may not exceed 50 inches in any direction and must be framed with a securely attached wire for hanging. Three-dimensional works (sculpture, ceramics, glass, etc.) may not exceed 60 inches in any direction or 75 pounds in weight. Works must have been executed within the two years since May 2023. Works previously exhibited at the MCCC Gallery are not eligible.
Awards include the Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission Purchase Award, with winning works becoming part of the County's permanent art collection. The Gallery at MCCC will not manage sales; sales inquiries will be directed to the artist. The exhibition is made possible in part by the Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission through funding from the Mercer County Board of Freeholders and the NJ State Council of the Arts, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts. The juror is Frid Branham, a New York-based multidisciplinary artist and architect working in fiber techniques, ceramics, and installations.
