Menagerie- Wild and Wonderful

Menagerie- Wild and Wonderful and Duck, Duck, Bear will run simultaneously with the 23rd Annual North Carolina Wildlife Arts Festival. Works based in realism depicting wildlife will be shown as a body titled "Duck, Duck, Bear"; all other works will be exhibited as Menagerie- Wild and Wonderful. Exhibit sites will include The Contemporary Art Exchange and additional sites where attendees and event participants will congregate throughout the city.

This is a juried exhibit for two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual art. Prizes with a total cash value of $5,000 will be awarded. All artists ages 18 and over are eligible to submit an original work with the initial entry fee of $15.00. Up to 10 additional submissions will be considered at $5.00 per entry. All work must be the sole work and exclusive property of the artist. Two-dimensional work must be no larger than 120 x 120 inches. Three-dimensional work may not exceed 9 feet in height. On-site assembly for 3D works is not permitted.

The Contemporary Art Exchange is a locally owned for-profit curator of fine art and fine craft, operating a gallery at 137 E. Main St., Washington, as well as furnishing artwork for corporate, commercial, and art venues.
