Meet the Artists - Frisco 2019

Meet the Artists-Frisco (MTA) is a juried art festival held in conjunction with the Town of Frisco's annual Fall Fest event on September 7th and 8th, 2019. The festival takes place in Frisco Historic Park on Main Street in Frisco, Colorado, at 9,100 feet elevation in the Rocky Mountains. Artist booths are located throughout the park, offering a prime location during a peak weekend with fall visitors, second home owners, and locals.

Eligibility: All work must be original and produced directly by the artist. Artist attendance is required both days of the event. The Summit County Arts Council makes final selection of participating artists, striving for a variety of art and balance of genres. Booth spaces are 10 x 10 (single) or 10 x 20 (double), with artists providing their own free-standing display booth. Electricity is limited and provided upon request on a first-come-first-served basis. Suitable protection from sun, wind, and rain are recommended, and weights are required to protect booths from high winds. No staking is allowed.

Application Requirements: Submit four digital images via the CAFE application system—three showing individual pieces representative of current work and one of your display and booth setup. Include a brief artist statement describing your artwork, process, and experience. Entry fee is $25 (non-refundable). Booth fees are due upon acceptance: $300 for single booth or $550 for double booth. Artists participating in both this show and Arts on the Blue River - Silverthorne (July 5-6, 2019) receive a $50 discount on the Frisco booth fee. Setup is Friday, September 6th from noon-5 pm, with additional setup Saturday morning. All artists must be set up and open by 10 am each day. Show hours are Saturday 10 am-6 pm and Sunday 10 am-4 pm.
