Meet the Artists - Frisco 2018

Meet the Artists-Frisco (MTA) is a juried art festival held in conjunction with the Town of Frisco's annual Fall Fest event on September 8th and 9th, 2018. The festival takes place in Frisco Historic Park on Main Street, located on the shores of Lake Dillon at 9,100 feet elevation in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Artist booths are positioned throughout the park, offering prime visibility during a peak weekend for fall visitors, second home owners, and locals.

Eligibility is limited to Colorado residents. All work must be original and produced directly by the artist. Artist attendance is required both days of the event. The Summit County Arts Council makes final selections, striving for a variety of art and balanced representation across genres. Booth spaces are available in 10 x 10 (single, $300) or 10 x 20 (double, $550) configurations. Artists must provide their own free-standing display booth with suitable protection from sun, wind, and rain. Weights are required to secure booths; no staking is allowed. Limited electricity is available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications require submission of four digital images via the CAFE website: three showing individual pieces representative of current work and one of your display and booth setup. A brief artist statement describing your artwork, process, and experience is also requested. The jury/application fee is $25 (non-refundable). Booth fees are due upon acceptance. Setup occurs Friday, September 7th from 1-5 pm, with show hours Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Coffee, doughnuts, water, and lunch are provided to artists. Booth sitters are available to assist during breaks.
