About This Call
Meet The Artists / Arts at Altitude - Frisco is held in conjunction with the Town of Frisco's annual Fall Fest event on Friday and Saturday, September 10-11, 2021. The art fair takes place in Frisco Historic Park located on Frisco's Main Street at an altitude of 9,100 feet. Fall Fest will include live music Friday and Saturday afternoons, with a wine, beer and food tent on Saturday.
This is a juried show open to national artists. All work must be original and produced directly by the artist. Artist attendance is required both days of the event. Booth spaces are 10 x 10 (single) or 10 x 20 (double), and artists must provide their own free-standing display booth. Suitable protection from sun, wind and rain are recommended. Weights are required to protect booths; no staking is allowed. Electricity is limited and provided upon request on a first-come-first-served basis. Artists may request specific booth locations or corner booths based on application date.
Applications require submission of four digital images via the CAFE system: three showing individual pieces representative of current work and one of your display and booth setup. A brief artist statement describing your artwork, process and experience is also requested. The application/jury fee is $25 (non-refundable). Booth fees are due upon acceptance: $300 for a single booth or $550 for a double booth. Setup occurs Thursday, September 9th from noon to 5pm and Friday morning, with all artists required to be set up and open by 10am each day. Show hours are 10am to 5pm both days. Security is provided Thursday and Friday overnight. Coffee, doughnuts, water and lunch are provided to artists. Booth sitters are available to help during breaks.
