McLean Holiday Art & Crafts Festival 2025

Founded in 1982, the McLean Holiday Art & Crafts Festival is a highly anticipated indoor, juried show featuring art and crafts made by approximately 80 regional artisans, as well as other holiday-inspired activities. Handcrafted works include pottery, glass, jewelry, holiday decorations, mixed media, accessories, wood, fine art, artisanal foods, soaps, skin care, and more. The festival focuses on fine art and crafts, welcoming both established and emerging artisans exhibiting innovative concepts executed with exceptional style and detail. Works in all media and price ranges will be considered, with the goal of creating the most diverse show possible.

The festival will be held December 5-7, 2025, at the McLean Community Center (1234 Ingleside Ave, McLean, Virginia). Hours are Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Show management is provided by the Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild (NVHG), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping artists and craftspeople exhibit and sell their work. Proceeds from the festival help NVHG provide scholarships to new emerging artists and craftspeople.

Applications require 5 images (including 1 booth shot), a $20 jury fee, and must be submitted by May 15, 2025. Notification will be sent by June 17, 2025, with booth payment due August 1, 2025. Booth sizes vary but average approximately 80 square feet. Only original craft or art, made by hand by the applying artisan, is eligible. No buy-sell, commercial products, or imports will be accepted. Exhibitors must be present during all festival hours and may not display sale signage or past awards.
