McKinney Arts in Bloom Festival 2026

Produced and sponsored by McKinney Main Street in conjunction with the City of McKinney, Arts in Bloom takes place in Downtown McKinney and features over 100 juried artists and the Local Artist Village, all set up on the tree-lined streets surrounding the McKinney Performing Arts Center. The festival runs April 10-12, 2026, with artist hours of exhibition from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Friday, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM on Saturday, and 12 PM – 5 PM on Sunday.

Downtown McKinney offers a unique and beautiful setting of restored, turn-of-the-century buildings that now feature cafes, offices, bars, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. During the event, the streets of downtown come alive with fine artists, dancers, performance artists, musicians, Texas wineries, and food vendors taking part in the three-day celebration. There's also a hands-on interactive area for children, the KidsCreate Station, where young Picassos can learn about art processes and create their own masterpieces. Arts in Bloom also features a Texas wine tasting experience with wineries from across North Texas.

The application deadline is January 5, 2026, with a non-refundable application fee of $25. Four images are required: three of individual pieces of work and one booth image displaying the artist's work in a complete, front-on outdoor view. Jurying is conducted by panels of at least three experienced art professionals who review each medium, with notification on February 16, 2026. Single booth fee is $350, corner booth fee is $475, and double booth fee is $775. Free basic electricity and booth sitting are provided, along with volunteers to assist with load-in and load-out.
