May/June Member Show

This exhibition is open to SWA members only. Artists may enter up to 4 works at $20 for the first entry and $20 per additional entry. Work must be original art completed within the last three years in one of the following mediums: Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic/Mixed Media, Pastel, or Non-representational.

Artwork must meet the following size requirements: minimum 10" per side or 100 square inches in area, maximum 48" or 2304 square inches in area including frame. The same painting may be entered in only two non-consecutive shows, plus one Annual Show. Paintings must be framed with flat hangers and wire only (plastic sleeves or tape to cover wire ends; no hardware projecting beyond back of frame). No oil paintings under glass or Plexiglas. Use Plexiglas on 20" x 30" frames when using a metal frame. No painting over photographs or classwork. Photographs must be original work by the artist or used with permission from the copyright holder.

Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Ensure correct orientation. A short biography must be provided with your entry. Images of winning paintings will be used for publicity on posters and the website. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
