May Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites 2D artists and photographers to apply for the May Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 square feet of display space featuring original exposed brick and plaster walls. The gallery has been in business for 10 years and is open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open only to 2D artists and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery may select up to a maximum of 3 originals to exhibit. Artwork must not exceed 48" width x 72" height and must be wired on the back ready to hang. Entry fee is $25 for up to 5 entries. Artists must submit 3-5 images of their work. The exhibition runs from Wednesday, April 29th through Thursday, May 28th, 2020, with a First Friday Artist Reception on May 1st from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. The gallery will pay artists by Monday, June 1st. Local artists should deliver work Friday, April 24th or Saturday, April 25th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm) and pick up Friday, May 29th or Saturday, May 30th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). Out-of-state artists may ship artwork anytime after selection through Saturday, April 25th; artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance and must include a prepaid return shipping label. The Jones Gallery does not assume liability for loss or damage to artwork. Artists are responsible for independently insuring their own work.
