May 2021 Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the May 2021 Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week. The group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday, April 28th through Thursday, May 27th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on May 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The entry fee is $30 for up to 5 entries. Submissions must include 3-5 images of work samples. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height. Artists receive 75% of sales, with the gallery retaining 25%. The gallery will pay artists by Tuesday, June 1st.

Local artists should deliver work Friday, April 30th or Saturday, May 1st (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Pick-up is Friday, May 28th or Saturday, May 29th (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). National artists may ship work anytime after selection through Saturday, May 1st and are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipped artwork must include a return prepaid shipping label. Artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags per piece (no larger than 3.5" x 5") labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the exhibition closing date. The Jones Gallery does not assume liability for loss or damage to artwork; artists are responsible for independently insuring their work.
