Material: d'Art's Third Juried National Fiber Arts Exhibition

Material is an exhibition of original fiber artworks from across the country, highlighting the quality and variety of fiber art. The exhibition is open to functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in fiber. Mixed media works are welcome as long as fiber is a major component. Work may be no longer than 60" in its longest dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Size and weight restrictions may be waived by contacting the Gallery Manager directly prior to submission.

This juried exhibition will be co-curated by gallery manager Amanda Bradley and exhibition juror Ryan Lytle. The exhibition runs Saturday, February 19, 2022 through Sunday, March 13, 2022, with a reception on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 5:30-7:30pm. Accepted works must arrive by February 13, 2022. Notifications will be sent by email by 5pm on Monday, January 31, 2022. Awards include 1st Place: $500, 2nd Place: $300, and 3rd Place: $150. The d'Art Center commission on sales is 60/40 (60% artist, 40% d'Art Center).

Eligibility is open to all artists 18 or older residing in the United States. All work must be original and created without the aid of an instructor or kit, and must have been produced within the last eight years. Entry fee is $45 for 3 works (one image per submission), with $5 for each additional submission up to a maximum of 10 works. Image submission requirements are a minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 images.
