About This Call
The Marlani Gallery at the University of Northern Colorado is seeking exhibition proposals for the 2015-2016 academic year. Proposals may be for a solo exhibition or a group show of no more than 3 artists, in any mediums. The gallery is a 1200 square foot space with 97 lineal feet of wall located in Guggenheim Hall on the University of Northern Colorado campus. It presents exhibitions that inform, enrich and expand the lives of students, faculty, staff and the community, showcasing work by internationally recognized artists as well as regional and local artists.
Interested artists must submit: an artist or exhibition statement; resume and artist's website if available; work samples consisting of a maximum of ten digital images of recent work with identification including title, medium, dimensions or duration, and date; and a written proposal of no more than 2 pages detailing the work to be considered, including a description of the work to be produced, number of total pieces, sizes, and theme. All accepted work must be professionally prepared for display. Applicants should indicate how the work will be presented.
All proposals will be reviewed by a jury panel. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by March 6, 2015. Proposals may be kept for future consideration in the 2016-2017 academic year. The application deadline is February 23, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MST. International artists are eligible.
