About This Call
The Marco Island Art in the Park is a boutique art & fine craft show allowing for less competition, less crossover booths and more potential opportunities to connect with shoppers. This is the original Marco Island Art in the Park, situated at Veteran's Park, Park Ave. The event features 66 booth spaces and is open Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm. Apply early and save $50 - $299 if paid before Oct 6, $349 if paid after. Artists may apply in up to 2 categories.
The focus is on handmade & artist designed items but the jury will consider unique/creative gift ideas, authors, inventors and designers. Each event is juried separately. The largest of the 10,000 Islands, this affluent beach and boating resort island has a small-town character and is home to luxury resorts, golf clubs, parks, and nature areas. The six-mile crescent beach on Marco Island is among the widest in Florida and features bright white, sugar sand, and bountiful shelling.
Artists are selected through a review of their work by a panel of experts. Categories include artist-made work, production/studio work, craft, inventor, designer, and other creative concepts. All artist exhibitor tents must be white with no exceptions. Booth spaces are approximately 10' wide by 10' deep with at least 2 feet between booths. Professional displays are required and must reflect the pictures sent for jurying. Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry, and jewelry must be applied for in the jewelry category specifically.
