March 2026: "SHADOWS & LIGHT" Competition

This call invites artists working in any medium to submit for a chance to receive a complete, professionally curated magazine issue dedicated solely to their practice. The selected artist will work directly with the editor to develop a 30–50 page publication featuring their portfolio, written profile, process notes, and visual sequencing tailored to their work. The standalone issue will be designed, formatted, and prepared for digital distribution through the magazine platform.

Applicants must submit 6–20 images of recent work (JPEG or PNG), an artist statement (150–300 words), a short bio (100–150 words), a link to website or portfolio if applicable, and contact information. Works in progress or series excerpts are acceptable if they represent current practice. All images should be clear, properly cropped, and accurately represent the work.

This call is open to artists of all backgrounds, locations, and experience levels. All mediums are eligible, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital art, installation, performance documentation, film stills, and sculpture. Entry fee: $44.00.
