About This Call
fstop504 is announcing its second annual group exhibition, MANIFEST, presented as part of the PhotoNOLA Festival at Fourth Wall. The exhibition is curated by Richard McCabe (Curator of Photography, Ogden Museum of Southern Art), Matthew Weldon Showman (Partner and Director, Ferrara Showman Gallery), and Joliet Morrill (President, fstop504).
The call seeks narrative photography that reflects how fstop504 has influenced your artistic practice. Subject matter could include architectural, landscape, or portraiture. Your work does not need to be photographed at fstop504 events, but should reflect on how fstop504 has shaped your artistic practice. Eligibility is open to anyone who has attended at least one fstop504 event. If you haven't attended an event, you can join Southern Gothic at Bevolo on October 19, from 3-6pm. You can submit up to 10 photos; if chosen, one will be exhibited.
Exhibition dates: December 8, 2024–February 2, 2025. Jury results will be announced November 10. The opening reception is Saturday, December 13, during PhotoNOLA Festival at Fourth Wall, with a photoshoot coinciding with the opening event.
