About This Call
"Making Our Marks" is the 8th Annual Members Only Online Exhibition open exclusively to ISEA current members. Members are invited to submit one piece of artwork to be displayed starting February 15th. This exhibition remains on the ISEA website with no ending date and can be viewed at any time by members and their patrons.
Eligible works must be original experimental pieces completed within the last three years and not previously shown in any ISEA online or venue-based exhibition. Accepted media types include two-dimensional work, sculpture, and video. The entry fee is $20.00 per member. Entries are accepted January 15 - February 1, 2022. Jurying takes place February 5-10, 2022, with awards announced February 15, 2022.
Distinguished jurors are Robert Lee Mejer and Carol Staub. Awards include: First Place $1000 (image used in advertising next year's exhibit), Second Place $750, Third Place $500, Fourth Place $250, Juror's Award $250 (two awards), and Merit Awards $100 each (four awards). Work entered into this exhibition is not eligible for entry in any other ISEA exhibition. Inclusion in this members-only exhibit does not count toward signature or nautilus status in ISEA.
