Making Our Marks

Making Our Marks is the 11th Annual Members Only Virtual Exhibition for the International Society of Experimental Artists. This invitational exhibition is open to all active ISEA members with current paid dues.

Eligible submissions include two-dimensional works, sculpture, and video created within the last three years. All media except audio-only is acceptable. Artists may submit one solo submission and one collaborative submission (maximum two submissions per artist). The entry fee is $20.00. Work samples should include 1-2 images (or 1 video, or a combination totaling 1-2 samples). 3D pieces may include two images from different angles. Submissions must be original experimental work not previously accepted in any ISEA exhibit, and artwork completed in workshops is not eligible. AI-generated artwork is not accepted. Commercial reproductions are not acceptable unless entered as numbered limited edition prints.

Submissions open January 15, 2025 and close February 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Applications are submitted through the Café website using a call code sent to paid members. Applicants must include a statement (1000 characters or less) explaining why and how their artwork is experimental. Awards include: First Place $1000 (image used in next year's advertising), Second Place $750, Third Place $500, Fourth Place $250, Juror's Award $250 (two awards), and Merit Awards $100 each (four awards).
