Main Street Gallery Fine Art Show & Sale

The Main Street Gallery invites regional artists to enter the 2024 Fine Art Show and Sale. The exhibition takes place at Main Street Gallery, 36 S. Main Street, Brighton, Colorado, located across from Founders Plaza in Historic Downtown Brighton. The show runs from October 11-23, 2024, with a reception and awards presentation on Friday, October 11th, 2024.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and submit original artwork in one of six categories: Oil, Mixed Media, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, or Drawing/Scratchboard. Photography, Digital, and AI artwork will not be accepted. Artwork must be original in both concept and execution (no copies, kits, giclee reproductions, or work done under instructor supervision). All artwork must be appropriate for general public venues (no nudity) and ready to hang with wire and hardware. Framing requirements: artwork must be framed or gallery wrapped canvas with 1.5" minimum thickness. Size limit: cannot exceed 36" on any side including frame and cannot weigh over 50 lbs.

Entry fee is $35.00 for the first 2 images, with an additional $10.00 media fee for a third image. Submit 2-3 images online through Callforentry.org. Entry deadline: August 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted artists will be notified by September 1, 2024. Hand delivery of accepted artwork is required September 24-28, 2024 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All artwork must be for sale and priced in the online entry system; prices cannot be changed. Main Street Gallery retains a 30% commission on sales. Artists receive payment via check within 14 days after the show closes. Cash awards totaling $1,200 will be awarded. The judge is Colorado Fine Art Artist Sheri Farabaugh. Gallery hours: Monday-Saturday, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Artwork pickup: October 24-26 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
