About This Call
MAGIX 2023 is the 2nd annual online group exhibition presented by Exhibizone, inviting artists worldwide to exhibit artworks exploring dreams, fantasy, illusions, imagination, and magic. The exhibition runs from November 15, 2023, to January 15, 2024.
Artists are encouraged to submit original artworks in any 2D or 3D medium that tell visual stories of dreamy landscapes, fantasy characters, illusory creatures, futuristic images, sci-fi societies, horror imaginations, magical worlds, optical illusions, abstract play of colors and lines, and related themes. Accepted categories include painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, metalsmithing, installation, crafts, jewelry, fiber art, collage, and mixed media. All styles and representational or abstract interpretations are welcome. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 selected per artist. Submission is free; a USD 35 fee applies only if selected. A money-back guarantee is available until the exhibition opening day.
Selected artworks will be exhibited online and promoted for sales. Benefits include publication in an online and print exhibition catalogue, digital promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition promotion via press releases and social media, analytics reports, potential publication in art magazines and books, a free artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate. Artworks must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, with no size limits. Artwork photos should show only the artwork without frames or extraneous backgrounds.
