Magazine Cover Art Contest: Summer 2025 Issue

PJAS is an interdisciplinary arts and literary journal at the University of Pennsylvania that celebrates the convergence of creativity and scholarship. The journal is seeking submissions for cover artwork for the Summer 2025 print and online editions. The selected piece will be featured on the cover. All styles and mediums of visual art are welcome that reflect the journal's mission of fostering bold, thoughtful, and boundary-crossing creativity.

Submissions should include a high-resolution image of the artwork and a brief artist statement (200–400 words) explaining the piece and its connection to PJAS's themes. The contest is open to all artists, regardless of age, experience, or affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania. Submissions from underrepresented voices and interdisciplinary creators are especially encouraged. Entry fee is $10.00. Up to 20 images may be submitted per application. If the entry fee is a barrier, contact the organization to request accommodation.
