Made in the USA: Freedom of Expression

MADE in the USA: Freedom of Expression celebrates art and all versions of creativity, and the ingenuity of materials used. This exhibition is open to artists 18 years and older residing in the United States. Artists can submit original work in the following mediums: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Sculpture, and Digital Art. Video and AI art are not eligible.

Artwork submissions are limited to six original artworks per artist as high-resolution JPEGs (1-3 MB). Maximum size is 60 inches framed in all directions. Maximum weight for sculptures is 35 pounds; sculptures exceeding this weight must be delivered in-person by the artist. All artwork must be for sale. TAG Gallery will receive a 35% commission on sales after acceptance and 30 days after the exhibition ends. Entry fee is $35 for one artwork, with additional entries at $5 each. Fees are non-refundable, and there is no guarantee of acceptance.

Entry deadline is June 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted artists will be notified June 28-30, 2023. In-person drop-off dates are July 20-22, 2023 (1-7 p.m.). Shipped artwork must be received by July 20, 2023. The exhibition runs July 26 - August 11, 2023 at TAG Gallery, 5458 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036. A reception and awards ceremony will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, 5-9 p.m. Juror: Scott Yeskel, Artist and Instructor. Cash awards: 1st Place $1,000, 2nd Place $500, 3rd Place $250. Awards in Excellence certificates will be presented in each medium category.
