Made in New York 2025

Made in NY is an annual juried exhibition at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, New York featuring work by New York artists. The exhibit runs March 29 - May 17, 2025, and is open to all media including photography, sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber, installation, and video. Prizes will be awarded, including $1,000 for Best of Show. The Schweinfurth Art Center is a non-profit multi-arts center in the Finger Lakes region offering exhibitions, art classes, workshops, and multi-arts programs.

Eligibility: Professional artists 18 years old and up who are New York residents may submit up to 2 artworks created within the past 3 years. Applicants may submit one full view image and one detail image of each work for a total of 4 images (detail images are optional). Full view images must be labeled with the artwork title; detail images must be labeled as "Title of artwork_detail." Artworks must be original design and personal execution, installation-ready with appropriate hanging hardware, and clearly labeled with artist name and title. Unframed works on paper and works suspended from the ceiling are not accepted. Artworks must fit through 82" x 41" doors and not exceed 144 inches on any side; sculptural work must be under 200 lbs.

Entry fee is $35.00 and includes Art Center membership for February-December 2025 (free admission, workshop discounts, and eligibility for the Members exhibition). Current members pay $5.00 with a promo code. Hand delivery accepted March 3-8, 10am-5pm. Shipped work must arrive by March 8. Jury results will be emailed February 14. Artists' reception and awards ceremony is March 29. Artwork pickup is May 20-23 or by appointment; shipped work returns by mail beginning May 21.
