About This Call
Open to Canadian artists. All submitted work must be original (no reproductions or AI-generated content). Accepted media: oil, acrylic, and mixed media painting on gallery-depth canvas or panel. Work requiring glass covering is not eligible.
Submission deadline: April 1, 2026, 6:00 PM EST. Entry fee: $20 per artwork (non-refundable). Unlimited submissions allowed. Work must be hang-ready with clean, finished edges if unframed. A $50 handling fee applies to artwork delivered without proper hanging hardware. All works must be for sale, with artists receiving 50% commission on sold work. Shipping of unsold artwork is at the artist's expense. Exhibition opening: May 2026. Delivery address: Summer & Grace Gallery, 323 Church Street, Unit 14.
Three selected artists will be awarded a place at Powagen Retreat in Muskoka, August 26–28, 2025. This three-day, two-night retreat includes all meals (prepared by a private chef), quiet studio time, plein air inspiration, and creative space. Artists must arrange their own transportation; travel expenses are not covered. Upon acceptance, provide artist name, email, tax number (if applicable), and artwork label with title, size, medium, and price. Contact: [email protected]
