About This Call
MINT announces an all-media call for M4: MINT's 4th Annual Juried Exhibition for emerging artists. The exhibition will be juried by Victoria Camblin, Editor and Artistic Director of ART PAPERS, a 40-year-old arts magazine and non-profit based in Atlanta, GA. The exhibition seeks to showcase the work of dynamic and innovative emerging cultural producers currently working in the United States. Each artist selected for inclusion will feature multiple works from their practice and will be awarded an artist fee/cash honorarium from MINT.
Eligible artists must be 18 years or older and currently reside in the United States. Emerging artists must have minimal solo exhibition experience, minimal published arts criticism, and minimal grant/private funding. All media are welcome including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, glass, metalwork, photography, video, audio, mixed media, installation, and performance art. Artists may submit up to 5 image files, or 3 audio/video files, for a $25 entry fee. Additional media works are accepted for $5 each. Works must be created within the last three years and must be framed/mounted/displayed according to professional gallery standards. The application deadline is February 10, 2017 at 11:59pm MST. Selected participants will be notified of acceptance by March 6, 2017.
The exhibition will be hosted at Hathaway Contemporary Gallery in Atlanta, GA from April through June, 2017. All works must be delivered to Hathaway in April 2017, with exact dates sent to accepted applicants. Artists are responsible for shipment of work to and from the gallery. MINT is a non-profit 501(c)3 located in Atlanta, GA that supports emerging art, artists, and arts lovers through exhibitions, programming, and outreach.
