About This Call
The 2026 Lubeznik Arts Festival (LAF) will take place August 15 and 16 from 10 AM to 5 PM (Central) in Michigan City, IN on the grounds of Lubeznik Center for the Arts, steps away from Lake Michigan. The festival features 80+ artists, local food vendors, indoor exhibitions, family activities, and live demonstrations. LCA's summer blockbuster exhibition will also be on display.
Admission is $5 on Saturday (free for LCA members, children, active military, and veterans) and free on Sunday Family Day. The festival includes fine art and fine craft, family-friendly art-making activities, and food vendors. Artists must specialize in a single fine art or fine craft medium and display only that medium in their booth. Media categories include 2-dimensional art, fine craft, jewelry, photography, sculptural objects, and wearable art.
Applications require four high-quality images representing work to be sold (including booth presentation) and a brief statement (200 words or less) about your work, medium, and process. Booth fees are $225 for a single 11'x11' booth space (suitable for a 10'x10' tent), $450 for double spaces, with additional fees for electrical access ($50) and side access ($100). All work must be original, conceived and executed solely by the exhibitor, and priced for sale. Exhibitors must provide their own commercial-grade tents and displays, properly weighted with a minimum of 40 pounds on each corner. Exhibitors must be present both days, rain or shine. $3,000 in cash awards will be distributed, including Best in Show ($1,000), 1st Place Fine Art ($500), 1st Place Fine Craft ($500), and additional juror awards. Booth fee payment is due by May 31, 2026. Contact Lubeznik Center for the Arts at 219.874.4900 for questions.
