Lubbock Arts Festival Juried Gallery 2017

This competition is part of the annual Lubbock Arts Festival, held April 21-23, 2017, and is open to all artists working in any fine arts media. The festival is a project of the Lubbock Arts Alliance, Inc.

Eligibility: Open to all artists in all media. Entries must be original in design and execution and completed within the last two years. Works completed in a workshop or under supervision are ineligible. Each artist may enter one work for consideration. Entry fee is $20.00 (non-refundable). Submissions are accepted online only through Cafe Call for Entry, with a deadline of March 13, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Selection notifications will be emailed March 31, 2017.

Accepted works must be delivered ready to hang with wire (no saw tooth hangers) or display, with a framed size limit of 44" wide x 72" high. Shipped works must arrive by April 12, 2017 at Lubbock Arts Alliance, P.O. Box 5092, Lubbock, Texas 79408 or 1001 Main Street, Suite 606, Lubbock, Texas 79401. Hand-delivered works should be delivered April 19, 2017 between 10:00 am-2:00 pm to Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401. The Juried Gallery will be displayed in the 1/3 Banquet Room of the Civic Center. Unsold hand-delivered artwork may be picked up April 23, 2017 between 5:00-6:00 pm. Shipped works will be returned in June 2017. Up to $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded at the juror's discretion. All artwork must be for sale at the price listed on the entry form; Lubbock Arts Alliance retains a 33 1/3% commission on all sales. The Lubbock Arts Alliance retains the right to reproduce work for publicity purposes.
