About This Call
The 48th Annual Lubbock Arts Festival takes place April 18-19, 2026 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The event has received four consecutive "Best in Texas" awards from the Texas Festivals & Events Association (2021-2024) and two "Grand Pinnacle" awards from the International Festivals and Events Association (2021, 2023). Limited to 100 fine artists and fine crafters, the festival features an indoor, air-conditioned venue with ample storage rooms, professional staff onsite during the entire show, 24-hour police security, and a $50,000+ advertising campaign targeted specifically to art buyers and design firms.
Booth fees range from $425-$475 for 10'x10' spaces and $750-$800 for 10'x20' spaces, with early payment discounts available. All booths include electric and pipe/drape. The festival offers numerous amenities including booth sitters, free parking, preorder lunch delivery, an artist hospitality room, and 25 complimentary tickets for each exhibiting artist. Artists providing demonstrations throughout the show receive a 10'x20' booth for a 10'x10' booth fee (limited availability).
The jury deadline is November 15, 2025, with artist notification on November 21, 2025. The festival utilizes a blind jury process with three art professionals reviewing four images of artwork and one booth image. All work must be original and made by the applying artist, completed within the last 18 months. Multiple applications are allowed (up to four) for different media categories. Categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing and pastels, fiber (decorative and wearable), glass, graphics and printmaking, jewelry, and metal.
