About This Call
This Summer Keyholder Residency Program offers emerging artists free 24-hour access to printmaking facilities to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The residency takes place in LESP's Community Studio, including the solvent/etching area and darkroom. Keyholders work independently in a productive atmosphere alongside other contemporary artists.
The residency runs from June 1 to August 31, 2026. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply, though some familiarity with the printmaking medium is required. Artists with specific printmaking projects are highly encouraged to apply. Local eligibility only.
Awards include a $500 stipend, 24/7 access to the shared studio with printmaking facilities for 3 months, 1 free printmaking class at LESP, basic supplies (newsprint, blotters, solvents, cleaners), and a residency artists exhibition opportunity at the end of the program. Submission deadline: March 1, 2026.
