About This Call
The Louisiana Crafts Guild is a juried organization of fine crafts artisans located throughout the state of Louisiana and the southern region of the United States.
The guild accepts applicants in the following categories: Folk Craftsmen (those who maintain traditional crafts learned within their own community, including ritual and festive crafts, Native American crafts, domestic crafts, folk instruments, and rural occupational crafts); Contemporary and Revivalist Craftsmen (those who have acquired knowledge through books, workshops, or education, including clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, mixed media, and papercraft); and Louisiana Life (painting and photography that represent and evoke the urban and rural cultures and traditions of Louisiana). Photography prints must be limited edition (up to 100) and signed and numbered.
Entry fee is $30.00 for Louisiana Crafts Guild membership. Applicants must submit exactly 5 images. The entry deadline is December 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MST. A maximum of 20 applications are allowed. Eligibility is regional, limited to Louisiana.
