Lost and Found: Juried Photography Exhibition

Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan is accepting submissions for Lost and Found: Juried Photography Exhibition. This juried exhibition invites Great Lakes artists to submit original photographic works reflecting the theme "Lost and Found." Selected artworks may relate to this theme broadly, including works documenting found objects or places, recovering lost narratives, or new revelations and discoveries. Alternative, creative, and experimental approaches to the theme are welcome.

This opportunity is open to still photographic and photography-related works; mixed media works are eligible but video works cannot be accommodated. Work must be original and completed within the past five years. The opportunity is open to US artists 18 and older residing in the Great Lakes region. Entry fee is $35.00 per artist ($20.00 for CTAC members; Guild Members enter free). Artists may submit up to five entries. $1000 in prizes will be awarded: First Place $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200.

Submissions are accepted online July 7 - August 4, 2023. The exhibition will be on display in CTAC-TC's Carnegie Galleries September 15 to October 28, 2023. Notification will be sent by Friday, August 11, 2023. Work must be delivered to Crooked Tree Arts Center (Traverse City) between September 4-9, 2023 during posted gallery hours. Artists are responsible for transporting work to and from the venue. Unsold artwork must be picked up during gallery hours October 31 - November 4, 2023, or by appointment. Works delivered with return shipping arrangements will be sent by November 4, 2023. Accepted work may not be removed until after the close of the show. Work not picked up by specified dates becomes property of Crooked Tree Arts Center.
