About This Call
Traditional and hybrid prints will be showcased together in this exhibition. Hybrid prints selected must employ at least one traditional printmaking technique in the overall piece (intaglio, silkscreen, lithograph, linocut). 3-D work will be accepted.
The entry fee is $15 for up to 5 JPEGs for LAPS Members in good membership standing and $25 for non-LAPS members. All JPEG images should be sized with 6 inches at the longest side at 300dpi. All print media (except conventional photography) and mixed media in which printmaking is dominant are acceptable. This show is open to all artists living in the U.S.
The juror is Frank Ellsworth, who has served as President and CEO of the Art Center of Art and Design and Pitzer College, and has contributed to organizations including Give2Asia, the Japan Society, The Paul Taylor Dance Company, and the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center in Los Angeles. He maintains one of the most dynamic and comprehensive print collections in the world. Exhibition dates: 7/26/14 - 9/12/14.
