Looking Out - A National Juried Photography Exhibition

The New Hampshire Institute of Art, Sharon Arts Center Campus presents Looking Out, a national juried exhibition of photographic images pertaining to both natural and manmade worlds. The selected works will create a dialogue addressing similarities and differences between the selected images and our perception of the outside world.

The juror is Andrew Lucas, Gallery Director at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and photography instructor. Entries will be judged on technical merit, aesthetic quality, and creativity. All decisions made by the juror are final.

Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 works. Submit 1-3 images. Work must be original (no reproductions or giclee prints), gallery ready, wired for hanging, and not previously shown at Sharon Arts Center in the past two years. Framed work must not exceed 100 lbs and must not exceed 84 inches on the longest side. Artists must provide a prepaid shipping tag for returned work. Art sold during the show is subject to a 40% commission by Sharon Arts Center. All work must be for sale at the indicated price.

Important dates: Entry deadline September 30, 2014. Selection notification October 3. Art delivery October 29-30. Opening reception November 7. Show closes December 24. Pick-up for sold work (buyers) and unsold work (local artists) December 29. Artwork shipped back to non-local artists January 5.
